All images on this site follow the rules below, and each is credited in the page footer:

1. Only four sources are used

1. Originally shot — by us or a contracted photographer, with copyright assigned to the site in writing

2. Brand-authorised — used with written permission from the brand or store

3. AI-generated — labelled as AI-generated under the applicable Chinese AI content labelling rules, and never using a real person's likeness

4. Clearly commercially-licensed stock — from sources such as Unsplash or Pexels

2. Never used

• "Found online" images from other shops, creators or photographers, even when attributed
• Third-party photos featuring identifiable people
• Unlicensed brand logo composites

3. Why we are strict

Hanfu photography is protected by copyright; copying it infringes both the photographer's reproduction right and the right of public communication over the internet. Using someone's likeness without consent is a separate infringement. Courts have already awarded damages to photographers in cases of exactly this kind of image copying.
